What is a VPAT?
Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a template containing information regarding how an Information and communications technology product or service conforms with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794 (d)). Section 508 provides guidelines for rendering ICT accessible to, and therefore usable by, people with disabilities.
How exactly does StartupTree work with Equal Entry?
Equal Entry provides StartupTree with audits and training materials. As part of issuing the VPAT, StartupTree participates in 1:1 meetings to review code, make adjustments, and learns from experts at Equal Entry.
Equal Entry also provides services for partners in regards to "frivolous lawsuits by showing baseline results and progress over time."
