Blackstone LaunchPad Summer Internship Program
StartupTree worked with Blackstone Charitable Foundation to launch an internship program for students at HBCUs and CUNY to further the Foundation's commitment to diversity and inclusion and providing access to opportunity in the communities in which we live and work.
This was the pilot program with a tight turnaround from inception in January to application open on February 2nd.

The HBCU Founders Initiative (HBCUFI) aims to catalyze investment in African Americans by supporting HBCU students, alumni, and faculty along their entrepreneurial journey, encouraging them to pursue technology solutions that close the racial wealth gap ranging from increasing access to healthcare,education, and financial services.
Roles available include: Animation/Motion Design, Business Development, Data Science, Marketing, Product Design, Social Media/Marketing/Communications.

A Coordinated Operation in Three Phases
StartupTree's White Glove Service for a streamlined internship program that reduces the lift for partners involved.
Phase 1: Application Creation + Automated Workflows
Application and event creation Is optimized for a low barrier to entry for participants, with a built-in workflow to maximize engagement and participation.
Continuous: Direct Support for Participants
Answering questions, providing guidance, and addressing concerns to participants. StartupTrees prevent these emails from cluttering up Blackstone inboxes.
Phase 2: Internship Applications and Placements
Internship listings were hosted through the platform, where students could apply to with ease. Employer Partners reviewed applications and made selections through the platform. Exports provided to Blackstone team for visibility on internship applications.
Continuous: Prioritized Platform Support
StartupTree platform prioritizing bug fixes and smooth operations for Blackstone intiatives.
Phase 3: LaunchPad Cohort Events and Entrepreneurial Bootcamp
Events created in the platform and advertised through emails for increased attendance.
